What will you do
This role is responsible for designing, and developing innovative digital solutions, supporting SEA sites (Thailand and Malaysia) to achieve the ambitious SMART manufacturing goals, and providing technical support on process control systems, and leading OT cybersecurity program.
The scope of key responsibilities includes:
- Initiate and develop the Automation and control strategies to drive a SMART manufacturing roadmap
- Lead a flawless automation project execution
- Provide technical support on Process Control Systems and Automation(PLCs, SCADA, HMI, Instrument, etc.).
- Working on existing control platforms and getting involved in future control projects to ensure all planning activities will be undertaken in a structured manner.
- Ability to apply new technologies for continuous improvement of productivity, Safety, Quality, and Sustainability.
- Manage and control the project budget and provide the proposed solution and investment.
What we are looking for
Essential knowledge and skills:
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Electrical, Controls, Instrumentation Engineering, or any related field.
Professional Experience:
- 4+ years of related experience in Automation and Electrical Control Systems.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Excellent understanding of industrial controls, wiring diagrams, and P&ID.
- Good in the Instrumentation and automation integration processing unit.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve industrial control systems.
- Good knowledge of HMI, SCADA, PLC, and MES.
- Good knowledge of industrial networks (Profibus, ASIbus, Modbus, TCP/IP, IT&OT).
- Having experience in Smart Factory or Industry 4.0 is preferable.
- Capital project experience, including PM (scope/cost/schedule) role.
- Experience working in a regulated GMP environment.
- Ability to work on a team and with individual assignments.
