Position Overview
We are recruiting for multiple on-call positions. The shifts are from 5:00pm - 9:00am on weekdays and 24 hours over the weekend and public holidays. This position will allow you to work from home, where you will need to be available for any phone calls or texts that may come through from our support workers. Ideal candidates would have experience in nursing or a medical background to able to provide phone assistance in emergencies.
Duties
- Provide phone support to support workers in emergencies or when administering medication
- Manage on-call roster changes to our team in a timely manner, ensuring they are communicated effectively to support services being delivered appropriately
- Maintain scheduling documentation, and ensures data entry and updates are carried out efficiently and accurately
- Operate with an understanding of the Social, Community, Homecare and Disability Award
Skills and Experience
- Experience in nursing (AIN, currently studying nursing, RN)
- Cert III or IV in disability desirable
- Current First Aid Certificate
- National Police Check, Yellow Card and Blue Card
