About Account Manager Position

As an Account Manager at The Missing Sock, you will play a crucial role in managing client relationships and driving sales growth. Your main focus will be on nurturing and expanding our existing client base, ensuring their satisfaction, and identifying opportunities for upselling our photography services. We are seeking someone with a proven track record in account management, who can bring their expertise to provide exceptional service and drive revenue.

You will work closely with the Sales Department to identify new sales opportunities and ensure that all sales processes and best practices are followed.

Tasks

As a Sales Representative, these are your top responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as their primary point of contact. Understand their needs, provide exceptional customer service, and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Identify opportunities to expand business within existing accounts. Proactively upsell additional products or services, maximizing revenue potential.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective sales strategies aligned with company goals. Continuously assess market trends, identify potential growth areas, and contribute to the overall sales strategy.
  • Deliver compelling sales presentations and demonstrations that effectively showcase the value and benefits of our products or services. Adapt presentations to address client needs and highlight unique selling points.
  • Accurately forecast sales projections, track progress against targets, and provide regular sales reports to the management team. Utilize data and metrics to analyze performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Lead negotiations with clients, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for both parties. Manage contract negotiations, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Conduct in-depth needs analysis to understand clients' specific challenges and requirements. Tailor solutions to address their needs effectively and propose customized offerings.
  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments. Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify opportunities and stay ahead of the competition.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams such as marketing, product development, and customer support to ensure alignment and a seamless customer experience. Share insights and feedback from clients to inform product improvements or new initiatives.
Requirements

As a Sales Representative, these are your must-haves:
  • Ability to write and speak English fluently. ⇢ Minimum: English (intermediate/B1) Preferably: English (proficient/C1)
  • Ability to write and speak Spanish fluently. ⇢ Spanish (proficient/C1)
  • Sales Process Proficiency. ⇢ Understand the sales process and funnel, in order to be able to navigate it efficiently.
  • Experience using CRM systems (such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zoho) to manage customer data, track sales activity, and analyze sales metrics.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to find common ground with customers.
  • Research skills to identify market opportunities and increase lead generation.

  • You have a proven Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing, preferably.
  • You have 2+ years of proven work experience as a Sales Representative or Business Development Representative, preferably B2B.
