We are based in Auckland. We have been providing a mobile auto mechanical and tyre replacement services to our clients in Auckland. We are currently looking for two mobile mechanics to join our team.
A successful candidate must have an ability to show his commitment to work and strong organisational and communications skills. Minimum hours of work would be 30/ week but you may have to work up to 40 hours / week depending on the volume of the work. Pay rate would be minimum $30/ hour maximum $32 / hour depending on your experience.
The candidate would be responsible to perform the following tasks according to their position:
You would be responsible to diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in the motor vehicle and parts.
Responsible to dismantling, removing engine assemblies, transmission, steering mechanism and other component in the vehicle.
Checking part, repairing and replacing old, worn and defective parts and referring to service manual if required.
Perform maintenance service, change, oil, filters, lubrications and tune up engines.
Ensure the smooth running of vehicle and ensure it is compliance with legal requirements.
Responsible to reassemble engines and other parts, test and adjust them after the repair.
Responsible to inspect the vehicle for roadworthiness and provide a details of the work required to achieve the roadworthiness.
May have to attend the breakdowns and call out services.
Job Requirements
Three years of relevant experience. Must be able to work unsupervised. Must be a team player to fit with the team Good presentation
