About the role

We in the Digital Products Organization are building a highly scalable services and world-class digital product experiences for our customers through smart appliances and IoT mobile apps.

Now, we are looking for a Software Engineer to the Application Release team. The Application Release team is essential to our operation as it develops the Mobile DevOps machinery needed to bring mobile app software from source code to consumer grade quality apps, published on app stores at the end of each sprint. High levels of automation are essential. The team is responsible for the mobile application testing and release process and supports the quality assurance process. At DPO, we use both iOS and Android native code, combined with shared logic written in Kotlin Multi-platform Mobile.

- As a team member, you will be involved in all aspects of developing new features including user story elaboration, estimation, analysis, design, programming, unit/integration testing and debugging following Agile development practices such as Scaled Agile and Scrum. - Elaborate, estimate, and design for small increments of work just-in-time
- Commit to completing well-defined work and deliver on those commitments
- Swarm around tasks along with other Scrum team members
- Perform technology evaluation and design spikes
- Report status of assigned software development tasks (jira)
- Consistently follow the specified software development methodology
- Continuously learn and challenge the organization concerning new practices, processes, technologies, and languages
Experiences & Qualifications
- Deep understanding of Agile principles and solid experience from agile teams
- Excellent English language skills, written and spoken
- Experience with the publishing process for the iOS app store
- Experience in developing and operating software pipelines, preferably for mobile apps.
- Experience from parts of our stack (Jenkins, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence, Phrase, Figma, Android Studio, XCode, Fastlane, AppCenter, App Store, Play Store, etc.)
- Experienced in implementing and running a variety of test tools (phone farms, SAST/DAST tools, etc.)
- Ability to rapidly learn and the courage to try new things, never settling for status quo
- Well-rounded interpersonal skills, and experience interacting with diverse nationalities, roles, and personalities
